CSTAM is the publisher of 16 periodicals and magazines with 13 in Chinese version（《Chinese Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics》,《Advances in Mechanics》,《Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica》,《Journal of Experimental Mechanics》,《Explosion and Shock Waves》,《Mechanics in Engineering》,《Engineering Mechanics》,《Chinese Journal of Computational Mechanics》,《Journal of Dynamics and Control》,《Chinese Journal of Geotechnical Engineering》,《Chinese Quarterly of Mechanics》，《Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration》and《World Earthquake Engineering》）, 3 in English version（《Acta Mechanica Sinica》, 《Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica》and 《Plasma Science & Technology》）, respectively. 5 periodicals are indexed byEI, including 《Acta Mechanica Sinica》, 《Chinese Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics》, 《Explosion and Shock Waves》, 《Engineering Mechanics》and《Chinese Journal of Computational Mechanics》. And 3 English periodicals are indexed by SCI, in which《Acta Mechanica Sinica》has been indexed by SCI core version.

The Society also edits and prints 6 issues of《News Letter of CSTAM》(internal publication) each year, with electronic version.

The monograph or booklets, such as 《Report on Advances in Mechianics (2006-2007)》，《Modern Mechanics and Progress of Science and Technology》,《Applied Mathematics and Mechanics》,《Mechanics Meets Challenges from the 21st Century》,《Mechanics in Everyday Life》, 《100 Cases of Mechanics Small Problems》etc. were published by the Society as well. In addition, 《Profiles of Chinese Scientists in Science and Technology (Volume of Engineering, Section of Mechanics)》were edited and published with the assistance of the Society.
