Stretch-Induced Softening of Bending Rigidity in Graphene

发表日期:2012-05-25Shi Xinghua来源:放大 缩小
First principle calculations are performed to show that the bending rigidity of graphene can be softened considerably with in-plane stretching. This phenomenon can be attributed to stretch-induced loosening of atomic packing and should be of fundamental significance for graphene-based structures and devices. [DOI:10.1063/1.4716024]
